involve的意思有包含；使参与，牵涉；围绕，缠绕；使专心于等。involve后接介词in表示“使…参与，使…陷入”； 接介词with表示“牵连，涉及”，常用于被动结构。
involve只用作及物动词，可接名词、代词或动名词作宾语。动名词前通常有物主代词或人称代词的宾语表示动名词的逻辑主语。
involve的搭配
1、involve ＋doing 结构
例句：
The job involves travelling abroad for three months each year．
这项工作包括每年三个月的国外旅行。
To carry on the work would involve living in desolate lands．
要进行这项工作，他们就必须居住在荒天野地里。
2、be involved ＋in doing 结构（涉及，参与；专心；卷入）
例句：
He was involved in working out a plan

Energy is involved in doing work， or in heating on object．

3、be involved ＋in sth 结构（涉及，专心；卷入）
例句：
More women should be involved in decision－making．
应有更多的妇女参与决策。

4、involve sb ＋in doing 结构
例句：
He is involved himself in working out a plan．
他专心致志地制订计划
5、involve sb＋in sth结构
（1） 使参与；使介入
例句：
Noel and I do everything together， he involves me in everything
我和诺埃尔什么事情都一起做，他让我参与所有的事。
（2）使陷入；使卷入
例句：
I seem to have involved myself in something I don＇t understand．
我似乎卷入了一件我并不知情的事情当中。
（3） 使承担；使面对
例句：

6、be involved ＋with结构
例句：
How long has Grace been involved with that red－haired boy？

7、involve sb／oneself＋with结构
例句：

contain、include、involve的区别
contain、include、involve的区别如下。
1、三者的读音不同
（1）contain的读音：英
（2）include的读音：英
（3）involve的读音：英
2、三者的含义不一样
（1）involve侧重于抽象概念。
例句：His work involves occasional journeys.
他的工作偶尔需要出差。
（2）contain是指某物体内含有什么成分或装有什么东西。
例句：The box contains old photographs and souvenirs. 那盒子里放有旧照片和纪念品。
（3）include强调的是包括的东西作为整体的一部分，或附加，或补充；还可表示整体可细分，但
不一定要列出所有的部分或成分。
例句：The city has dozens of factories， including a power plant and a steelworks.
这个城市有几十家工厂，其中包括一家电厂和一家钢厂。
3、三者的词根词缀不一样
（1）contain的词根词缀
词根：tain, ten, tin= to hold 拿住
（2）include的词根词缀
词根：clos, clud, clus= to close 关闭
（3）involve的词根词缀
词根：vol, volu, volv, volt= to roll, to turn 卷, 转
